At the Television Critics Association summer press tour, HBO Max revealed an epic new trailer for its upcoming sci-fi series, Raised by Wolves.
Premiering on HBO Max on Thursday, September 3, Raised by Wolves “centers on two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences, the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task.”

Raised by Wolves comes from acclaimed filmmaker Ridley Scott (Alien, The Martian) who will serve as an executive producer and director of the first two episodes. The HBO Max series marks Scott’s US television directorial debut. Working alongside Scott on this ambitious project is the series creator and showrunner Aaron Guzikowski (writer of Prisoners).
The cast includes Amanda Collin (A Conspiracy of Faith), Abubakar Salim (Fortitude), Winta McGrath (Aloft), Niamh Algar (The Virtues), Jordan Loughran (The Infiltrator), Matias Varela (Narcos), Felix Jamieson (Game of Thrones), Ethan Hazzard (The Long Song), Aasiya Shah (Call the Midwife) Ivy Wong (Star Wars: Rogue One) and Travis Fimmel (Vikings).
HBO Max also revealed an atmospheric new poster showcasing Amanda Collin’s android, Mother, holding a baby in the palm of her hand, which you can see in the image below:
