The Razer Blade Pro 17 has ample power to work, render, compile, and game like a professional rig. But the fact Razer fit all that into just over 6 lbs of laptop? That’s more than a bit out of this world.

To start, It’s got a brand new, 10th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor that’ll crush some of the most intensive tasks. That’s 8 cores and 16 threads to help you render 3D animations, encrypt/decrypt data, or simply never close a browser tab again ever. Meanwhile, games will benefit in their open worlds, battlefields, and frenetic firefights.

The Razer Blade Pro 17 can also be upgraded all the way to an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2080 Super Max-Q. 2080 SUPER means more frames so the competition doesn’t know what hit them. The RTX part means physics accurate lighting and shadows for when a view is what you’re after. And the Max-Q means less heat, less noise, and better performance.

Add to that a lightning-fast 1TB PCIe Solid State Drive and 16GB of DDR4 RAM to make loading, saving, and multitasking a breeze and you have a laptop that outworks and outfights from almost any location.

This laptop’s 17.3” screen has an additional two upgrade options, and it’s all factory calibrated.

Full HD / 300hz — For those who believe that the way to full immersion is through buttery smooth games, films, and 3D renders, accept no substitute. It’s less a screen and more a gorgeous, 100% sRGB delivery vehicle tied to twin Intel and NVIDIA rockets, making 1920×1080 deliveries into your face every 0.0034 seconds or so.

Ultra HD / 120hz — Then again, maybe you go quality over quantity. Giant workspaces that hold whole worlds of detail.  Fewer frames, but each of them handpainted. In that case, pick the configuration that can deliver you big, 3840×2160 revelations in 100% Adobe color spectrum… at a leisurely, contemplative pace of 7200 every minute.

Just because there’s no bad option doesn’t mean it’s not a war. So what will it be: Elegance or efficiency? Frames or the pictures in them? Choose wisely.

The Pro 17’s integrated HD webcam and mic makes remote learning and webinars possible. But add in that i7-10875H, RTX 2080 Super, and RAM and you have a laptop built for streaming while you game.

And there’s a lot supporting that, including:

● 802.11ax/Wi-Fi 6 and 2.5Gb Ethernet

● USB-A 3.2 GEN 2 (C and A) and Thunderbolt 3

● UHS-III SD Card Reader for filmmakers and photographers

● 3.5 MM Headphone/Microphone Combo Port

The Razer Blade Pro 17 is something of a space/time paradox.

The Pro 17 is what’s called a “desktop replacement” class of laptop. Meaning, that it’s a laptop that should be portable… but also just big enough to fit hardware, build quality, and durability to replace a desktop PC. Most of all, those three qualities must come together in stats that are so serious that serious people would conceivably give up an even bigger monitor and tower for this replacement.

Which brings about the paradox: like an advanced alien craft, The Razer Blade Pro 17 appears as if it’s smaller than itself. Because for all it’s power and pixels, it’s somehow the little things that define the Pro 17.

The Razer Blade Pro 17 begins as an aluminum, unibody design milled from a single piece of metal. This provides for a strong, flex-free body. A literal powerhouse for its hardware power. But in contradiction, the laptop is under one inch tall when closed and just a hair over 6lbs fully loaded. Even the “paint” is anodized into the chassis; lightweight and backpack tough.

The entire laptop seems dedicated to not just managing that heat, making it and the systems that combat it nearly unnoticeable. You’ll see the desktop-grade results from the CPU and GPU, but the custom vapor pipe hides not just heat, but noise and performance impacts.

Even the redesigned hinge doubles as a radiator, drawing even more heat out of the system.

But the best detail is that the upgrade areas on the Pro 17 are user-accessible. There’s an open M.2 storage slot for up to 2TB of HDD and the capacity for 64GB DDR4 RAM. All upgradable yourself.

If the Razer Blade Pro 17 turns out to be a desktop replacement, the power’s going to help. But it’s these touches that might clinch it. See much more at https://www.razer.com/campaigns/back-to-school-2020/choose-your-blade
