Earlier this month, Nintendo revealed a new promotion that would allow people to grab a free Mario pin set for purchasing Mario 3D All-Stars and doing a few easy tasks. That’s good!
But as soon as the promo actually went live, it crashed the site, the entire Nintendo store and sold out in minutes. That’s bad!
So what went wrong? A lot of things.
