Capcom’s Resident Evil franchise most assuredly has its fair share of characters, having grown a huge cast of heroes an villains since the series inception back in 1996. I’m not sure if any of the series’ protagonists have received quite the same number of tweaked reiterations as the beloved heroes of 1998’s Resident Evil 2: Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield.
Netflix has released two new images of the aforementioned heroes as they will appear in upcoming CG series Resident Evil Infinite Darkness, first revealed by the streaming service in September. As is to be expected from Resi’s resident hipsters, both Leon and Claire are looking hot to trot, with Kennedy rocking his iconic bad-boy side-parting, while Redfield has adopted a form strikingly similar to her Resident Evil Revelations 2 appearance.
TMS Entertainment, the producer of Resident Evil Infinite Darkness, has stated that the series will feature an all-new Resident Evil narrative “unlike any you’ve seen before” and will no doubt see Claire and Leon team-up against spine-tingling horrors and clandestine conspiracies. You can check out the teaser trailer for the series in our previous coverage.
Resident Evil Infinite Darkness will premiere on Netflix in 2021.
