We’ve seen Ghost Face in a number of video games already, namely Dead By Daylight, Among Us, and Call of Duty: Warzone. Now, the iconic killer first seen in Wes Craven’s 1996 genre-defying film, Scream, is coming to a new game. On October 24, you can find Ghost Face in Hunt: Showdown as the western-horror extraction shooter gets its debut licensed character skin.
The Ghost Face Rampage DLC includes the character skin, two weapons, and a tool–a knife, fittingly. The weapons included in the bundle are Hush (a Frontier 73C Silencer) and Whisper (a Bornheim No. 3 Silencer). The stealthy toolset is well-imagined for the sneaky star of the Scream franchise. If only Hunt: Showdown had some sort of telephone analog so Ghost Face could call and harass other players exploring the map each round.
Like in Dead By Daylight, the character has been given a makeover to suit the world, including a 19th-century-style hat and duster jacket. The iconic mask is now made of wood rather than rubber, too. Though Hunt hasn’t previously done licensed crossovers, we arguably should’ve seen this coming, given its ongoing Halloween event is called Harvest of Ghosts.
