EA Sports College Football 25 and Madden NFL 2025 are two of the most notable games featured in Best Buy’s Gaming Sale, and Amazon is countering with better deals of its own. The PS5 version of College Football 25 is on sale for $43 at Amazon, besting Best Buy ($46.49) by a few bucks. The Xbox Series X version of the NCAA football sim is $46.49 at both retailers. Madden, meanwhile, is on sale for its lowest price yet at Amazon; the PS5 and Xbox versions of Madden 25 are available for only $40, compared to $46.49 at Best Buy.
We wouldn’t expect these deals to last for long at Amazon. Best Buy’s sale ends Sunday, October 27, but Amazon’s prices could go back up before then.
EA Sports College Football 25
$43 for PS5, $46.49 for Xbox (was $70)
The $43 price for PS5 matches College Football 25’s all-time low price. Great timing, too, as EA just released its biggest update yet this week. The latest Title Update added over 700 players to the game, so your favorite team might not have fictional players taking up roster spots now. EA also updated player ratings based on performances from the ongoing 2024-25 football season. Many other additions to tweaks were made in the new update, including Adobe Express AI tools for designing logos in Team Builder.
College Football 25 first licensed college football game since NCAA 14, which released in 2013. The decade-long hiatus led to College Football 25 being perhaps the most anticipated sports sim of all time in the US.
As with all sports sims, there are certainly areas of the experience that could benefit from improvements, but EA Sports College Football 25 is a lot of fun. It’s sure to be on many holiday wishlists this year, so Amazon’s deal offers a great opportunity to save up to $27.
Madden NFL 25
$40 (was $70)
Amazon’s Madden deal drops the latest iteration of the annual football sim to its best price ever for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One. The Xbox disc grants access to both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions of the latest Madden game. The $40 deal for PlayStation users is only available for PS5; the PS4 edition is on sale for $45.
